I'm now re-discovering his music, and still not coming to conclusions as to whether the art can be separated from the artist. Thanks Lynne - I am also finding this fascinating! Am thinking of looking at some of his lyrics to see what stories I see in them - I've only ever thought about how his music affects my emotions.
